Silent Valley (1935)
Tom is a sheriff of a small western town and is viewed as inept, for he seems to be incapable of dealing with outlaws who are busy rustling everyone's livestock. When the local Ranchers Committee wants him ousted, Tom has to prove himself worthy but at a price; his girlfriend's brother is mixed up with the outlaws. A new deputy forces Tom to dig deep and get one of the outlaws to expose the outfit.
